Due to HIPAA regulations and changes in Medicare claims process for Alabama, there are now
two versions of PC-ACE Pro32 electronic claims billing software.

Medicare-only

The version developed independently by Cahaba GBA processes claim submissions Medicare Part B claims ONLY. This software is available to providers at no charge. However, there are fees for installation, configuration, training and support.

ALL Payer

This program is not free, but allows providers to submit claims to both Medicare and BCBS of Alabama. It also transmits claims to Availity, a clearinghouse service provider. Availity sends various commercial payer claims and Railroad Medicare claims.  However, it does not transmit Alabama Medicaid claims. M.A.S.H., Inc. has other options available to Alabama providers, including claims processing through Medical Claim Corporation (MCC).

M.A.S.H. is an authorized distributor for the All-payer version of PC-ACE Pro 32 in Alabama. To avoid interruption in cash-flow, Alabama providers are urged to take immediate action to acquire licensing for the All-payer version of PC-ACE Pro 32.
